The first person I asked was going to Erfurt and took me all the way to Bad Hersfeld. It was evening so there wasn't much traffic, maybe that's also why the traffic was more long distance. I think the deserted vibe of the gas station made people take pity on me which greatly helped me haha.―Bigworldsmallsarah

I got dropped off here by accident, made some mistake with my gps. I wanted to go in the direction of Giessen, which is unlikely from that stop. But even cars going on the A3 towards Cologne didn't stop for me. this spot is indeed quite bad - quite a lot of traffic and no space to pull over. you might want to hh towards erfurt first (more space to pull over in that direction) and change directions at the first service station.―Anonymous

The cars are passing by very fast on the street and it's curved, so no chance to get a lift from driving cars. But you can talk to the drivers who stop there or stand at the end of the parking place to catch them after parking. Still took me 45 minutes to get a lift to Bebra.―Anonymous
