Had a sign for Hamburg which was too optimistic, therefore the long wait time, bring sign for Berlin instead. Otherwise great spot, lots of traffic. There was a lot of people working at the toll who passed me doing their thing, and they did not bother me once. To get here a friend dropped me on the back road next to the highway, and I jumped the fence 200 m west of the toll where there is a gate that is sturdy and easy to climb, but still about 2 m tall so be prepared.

There is lots of trucks because of the duty terminal here. There is also two gas stations - Shell (northern) and BP (southern). There's also Carrefour by the BP. Almost all trucks are heading west. Don't come here in the afternoon or evening - you will find drivers laying down to sleep (especially on the BP). There's not much normal cars passing by, but I think you could catch a ride towards Zielona Góra - there's a bus stop and the cars do not go too fast because of the railway crossing (without barrier though) and trucks marauding between duty terminal and gas stations.
