If you’re trynna go East towards Amberg and the Bahnhofs well you’re gonna have a bad time. Many people stopped although there’s no space but nobody was going towards CZ or east. Don’t bother coming here. I got dropped here after 2 women confused east with west and gave me a ride in the opposite direction hahahh―PolyglotAbroad

I was trying to get to east on A6. I don’t know how the other people got rides to Czech Republic but I wasn’t lucky at all. The traffic is very local going every possible direction but East and nobody is taking the A6 eastwards bruh. Or at least nobody stopped. I had a double sign CZ and A6 OST. Got a ride from some girls whom I asked 5 times to confirm they are going east but they were actually going WEST?! Holy sht don’t trust women with directions. Anyways from that really bad spot I got another ride back to Nürnberg and I’m taking the flixbus for 30€. I started at 10AM now it’s 4PM―PolyglotAbroad

the perfect place to hitchhike to Romania or the Czech Republic (about 2/3 going that way)
SOUTH:
Munich is also good (about 1/4 of all cars going that way)
NORTH:
not a good place (2 cars in 3 hours)

many directions (east-south)bus stop after traffic lights, enough space to stop and cars are not so fast. take bus 44 from centre to here or walk here from trainstation.

one of the best locations to get to A9 (Berlin/München) an A3 (Würzburg/Regensburg). Take Tram 8 to to final station Erlenstegen. Only waited 20min.―Anonymous
