Nice spot if you’re trying to get into Munich. I had a local pickup and took me 40 min to the other side of the city. Was very nice. Idk if ppl need a good spot to get inside the city but hope this helps.―Wiisportzs

Very chill spot. Right by the entrance to the highway and right next to a shopping plaza where people can pull. The locals are very friendly, always smiling and waving at you. Hitchhiked pretty late too, 6 pm on a Thursday. Was heading to Munich.―Wiisportzs

Great place, expecially as it is just on the road leading to the autobahn, and there is a great place for cars to stop. Though it is a 1km walk from the nearest s bahn stop.―Anonymous

HOW TO GET THERE:
Take the S-Bahn (S8) to Neugilching. Walk along Landsberger Strasse about 400 meters to the entrance of the Autobahn. There really isn't a place to stop on then eingang (entrance), so I just hopped the Autobahn gate and hitched directly on the road. No police, since I got a ride in less than 10 minutes.

yes, they are working on the road, so pretty hard to hitchhike there. I was lucky on the 14th of August (2012). because at that day they were just doing the other side YET. I got a ride in 1.5 hour, it was a 220 km long ride. :)―AdrianB
