Very good spot to go towards Augsburg, Ulm or Stuttgart. I waited with sign on Stuttgart aprox. 45 minutes, but plenty of cars stopped before and offered me Augsburg. Eventually I went to Ulm with a brand new Porsche (just couldn’t say no to that).Cars are going slowly, can see you clearly a d have a plenty of space to stop.

As the other review says. I tried to go west (Switzerland), but it didn’t work at all. Most of the cars are going to Munich or further south to Austria. I gave up eventually and got picked up quickly after I changed my sign to Munich―pivokluk

Nice spot if you’re trying to get into Munich. I had a local pickup and took me 40 min to the other side of the city. Was very nice. Idk if ppl need a good spot to get inside the city but hope this helps.―Wiisportzs

Great spot in direction of Lindau and lots of people stopped. One person gave me 5 euros. And many people gave waves and smiles. Only issue was my sign said Alps and it was quite vague so people didn't know where I was going. Partially my fault but there was also a lot of traffic only going to the next city.―Arcturus

Asked cars and the first one we asked got us all the way to München and we could sleep in their car. They asked us for documents which is understandable since we were entering the EU―Lyll

Right now they are rebuilding the highway so it is even esier to get a ride. But over all nice place to get a ride to Münch. A lot of cars going slow and good visabailite.―Sova

Amazing spot, cars are going super slow, plenty space to pull over. Its the most busy crossing for cars going towards munich, even though it seems like the crossing at Höchst might attract more traffic. But that isnt the case according to a local. He even took me across the border just to get me here―Frederik

There is a new tunnel that bypasses Oberau. As a result, hardly any cars drive through the village anymore.―Anonymous

Most people are busy and don’t want to take you, but there’s many people in general, and you can stand in front of the service station so it’s possible to signal to drivers and ask people coming out of the station―Inni

I did not wait long until a family in a van picked me up. I wanted to go to Frankfurt/cologne area but they took me along the way to Augsburg―Arenwithane

Just went to the gas station. We (2 guys) didn’t even have to take our sign out, we got a ride to Munich with the 3rd car we asked. I guess quite lucky, but the spot looks really good anyways.―nach0
