Not the best spot for cars for stopping but they still do. After 25 minutes of waiting and rejecting one offer in different direction than mine driver approached me and told me that he didn't had place to stop at the roundabout so he stopped at the parking nearby and told me he is going towards Ulm. I accepted ride as it was on my way but later I found out that he was actually going to Saxony but it was pure luck. Nether the less good spot for Ulm and Munich even if it doesn't look like that―Autostopeks

Ok, this looks like a good spot north. But I was dropped off here and needed to go south, and it was not great. Luckily, I found a guy around here going to the Czech border, but it might have been more luck than actually a good spot. Also, there is a McDonald's nearby, where I asked as well.―martih

Got dropped off here by a trucker turning towards Czechia, walked up to a car with an older German pair showing them a sign for Chemnitz/Dresden but they signaled they wouldn't take me so I walked around the rastpaltz, asked a few truck drivers who said no, went to the toilet and the German guy signaled told me that he can take me but only to Dresdner Tor (I think a little bit out of pity when everyone else also said no), which was perfect for me as I wanted to hitchhike further towards Poland but I think it should be avoided as there are very few cars coming.―Kivvish

It's easy to go on the A4 from here. You can reach this point by walking very easy. Driver can stop it is not the best place to stop, but it's also not to dangerus.―Anonymous
