it took 7-8 mins to find a car to Bamberg. Cars have to wait for the lights and almost all cars are passing through Bamberg.―Anonymous

Right in front of the yellow city sign of "Himmelkron".Cars go south and north on the A9.
(You can also ask people at the parking lots of the supermarkets but I made the experience that most of the people are locals and won´t use the highway.)

This is a good spot to get western on the A70. You can walk to this parking lot within 15Min from "Unterbrücklein" - that's a bus station that you can reach from Kulmbach and Bayreuth.―Anonymous
