REALLY UNDERRATED SPOT!!! I waited 5 minutes just across the border on the Austrian side with a sign for Munich and got a ride with a Polish van driver going to Vienna. You can get really long distances here its a very commonly used border crossing from Switzerland to far away with lots of traffic.―Arcturus

Great spot with some space to pull over and lots of traffic towards Saint Gällen from the border. Met another hitchhiker here going the opposite direction! Got a ride to Saint Gällen using the other hitchhikers sign for Zürich with a German couple in 30 minutes.―Arcturus

I was heading west towards Switzerland with a sign CH. Lots and lots of traffic and some space on the roundabout but many people are going different directions or not willing to take you. Eventually I made a sign for Feldkirch and was switching between the 2 when I got a ride (with the Feldkirch sign) with a lovely Austrian couple going to Germany!―Arcturus

Not the best spot for cars for stopping but they still do. After 25 minutes of waiting and rejecting one offer in different direction than mine driver approached me and told me that he didn't had place to stop at the roundabout so he stopped at the parking nearby and told me he is going towards Ulm. I accepted ride as it was on my way but later I found out that he was actually going to Saxony but it was pure luck. Nether the less good spot for Ulm and Munich even if it doesn't look like that―Autostopeks

Excellent spot! Plenty of traffic going in multiple directions. I succeeded in getting an Austrian who was going to Bregenz to take me across the Swiss border. I even turned down three other offers within the 17 minutes to closer destinations. Good luck:)―daniellorell

Had a sign FL for Liechtenstein right next to the petrol station entrance where there was plenty of room to stop. No one stopped except one person going in the opposite direction. Eventually I got a ride with an Austrian living in Dornbirn to a petrol station near the town on the motorway. Ok spot but mainly locals and Germans. Difficult to find someone going south.―Arcturus

Good place even in evning. All cars from lindau goes thru this point on the highway + there is a lot of option where to hichhike. I did crosswalk but could also talk to people on gass station or waited next to mcdonal―Sova

we’ve tried asking on the gas stop, standing with the sign before and after the roundabout. it was quick enough, we got a ride to dornbirn because we didn’t have any particular direction in plans, just to reach the mountains.―vikv
