Originally we had a sign for Innsbruck but most of the traffic at the mall is local. After changing it to feldkirch we got a ride pretty quickly.―Proxi

Traffic going in all directions out of Lindau. Lots of Austrian and Swiss cars. Cars can easily pull into the gas station.―Proxi

Waited for 2 hours with some cars being unable to take us because we were with 3 people. Originally the plan was ulm or Munich. The amazing guy that eventually picked us up went to Lindau via ulm.Lindau is a village on lake Constance, the biggest lake in Germany and we decided to go along.

loads of traffic for switzerland, a lot of people cross the border for work so getting here early you catch commuter traffic to st gallen etc. also a few swiss cars driving by with sg plates, bathroom at the petrol station right behind to refill water and bins filled with cardboard for all your sign making needs :-)―BI

It was a bit tricky, but in theory cars can stop easily. There are a lot of cars coming by but it took long until the first person stopped.―Anonymous

Most of the cars were heading towards Austria or Switzerland. But luckily a local German grandma with her two grandchildren took me to next rest area on the highway, meanwhile explaining to the kids that she also used to do that and explained what trampen means to them etc. :’)―Anonymous
