As the other review says. I tried to go west (Switzerland), but it didn’t work at all. Most of the cars are going to Munich or further south to Austria. I gave up eventually and got picked up quickly after I changed my sign to Munich―pivokluk

someobody dropped us there and said its a great spot for munich but hell nah. not many cars (close to bigger road), cars go fast, no shadow. we gave up because it was getting too hot! if you walk south, after the junction there is a bus stop to mainburg. maybe we could have tried there but we took the bus.―Papikow

Southward works perfectly. I thumbed at the end of the gas station, when the road feeds back into the highway. Three people that were walking around the area even spontaneously offered me a ride. The third one was right for me, DIRECTLY to Rome, Italy.―Emanuele19956

i got stuck here looking for somebody to take on my way to lindau (A96 east from munich). then i just got a ride into munich (easy to get) and went to the beginning of the A96, which worked out well―Corwohl

it is kinda hard to get somethiong northbound! but south bound noproblem!
i tried northbound twice once it took me and a friend 1,5 hours and the second time the second guy i asked took me till leipzig!

Good spot to go north towards Nürnberg, cars are really slow here and can stop easily. We waited 15 min, during this time 4 cars stopped going towards Regensburg. Number 5 took us to Nürnberg-Feucht.―Anonymous
