Tre bone. Kaj komenciĝu la ludoj.

Too dark to try during night. I gave up and crossed the village by foot.

I actually met Chris there in Zittau one hour later, so he passed here during day already.

Stood next to the traffic light with a sign, seemed kind of hard to get a ride but after only 20 minutes a driver stopped at the mc Donalds and took us to the better sport right before A4. There is also a small gas station right next to it but very little traffic on Sunday

...after half an hour of hitchhiking we got a lift when we were just walking towards the motorway.

The last station before Polish-German border. The are some Polish cars but we didnt have a luck trying get ride to Poland. There is also a few mostly Polish trucks but they all going west. In the end we get a ride to Zgorzelec while standing on the crossroads with a sign.

tried it for over an hour with a Dresden sign. Was brought to the next gas station next to A4 within 5 minutes without sign. Lots of traffic towards Niesky so if you want to go to Berlin consider hitchhiking over Cottbus rather than Dredsen.

Lots of traffic to Niesky (also further in the direction of Berlin) got a car in a few minutes on the crossroad. Most cars are going to Poland from the gas station.

Saturday afternoon in fall

Leave the cars enough space to stop for you and it is a great place to put your thumb out.

Saw this on hitchwiki when looking for Görlitz.
Really good spot, very nice woman took us all the way to Wroclaw.

Traffic to Berlin, A4 (Dresden, Poland) and Görlitz. Hitchhiked without a sign and a man brought me to the other side of Niesky. If you are ok with town hopping in the direction Berlin its a good spot.

Saturday afernoon

3rd car stopped. Good for town/village hopping up north. Traffic from Niesky/Görlitz and A4 towards Cottbus/Berlin. According to the locals, there is much Polish truck traffic to Berlin during the week.
