Not much traffic on a Tuesday morning, waited 30min before getting picked up by a truck driver. Try to stand a little further where the lanes merge.

Waited for 2 hours with some cars being unable to take us because we were with 3 people. Originally the plan was ulm or Munich. The amazing guy that eventually picked us up went to Lindau via ulm.
Lindau is a village on lake Constance, the biggest lake in Germany and we decided to go along.

Tre simpatia ulo, kiu amis medicinmuzikon kaj brazilan muzikon. Tre bona.

Again not that much traffic. A lot of people go to Stuttgart. I wanted to go further

I initially stood by another traffic light farther north with a sign, and then I walked to this traffic light because it stays red for much longer, giving you time to walk around and actually get in a car without disturbing traffic.
I had a sign saying "Stuttgart" and eventually a woman waved at me from the passenger's seat. They took me straight to Stuttgart-Messe.

It‘s a good spot to get a lift towards Stuttgart or the airport and from there you can continue. Had a sign saying Flughafen

The Autohof here is the worst place ever to get out of. Located off the Autobahn, lots of local traffic or traffic just going into Stuttgart

Busstop of Line 1 (towards Eningen)

Good place to stop towards the "Schwäbische Alb", Riedlingen, Sigmaringen.
You should never have to stand longer than 30 minutes.
