Most the cars are going to the Ruhrgebiet. I got a ride to Bremen with a friend after a while.

There's a bus stop at the verge where people easily can stop. Years ago when I live in Rotenburg I always used this spot for local hitch-hiking. But also to get to a highway in direction to Hamburg e.g. it's a good spot, easy to get away.

Bus stop with Hut. After a sharp turn so pretty spontaneous.

Good spot for westward travel, it’s the main road. Busstation behind you for people to stop. Possible to reach A1 from here

Good amount of traffic goes by here. We asked around at the gas station and stood by the split with a sign where all the cars come through. Got a ride all the way to Arnhem with a dutchie.

Very nice spot. A lot of traffic goes by here. Got a ride within 5/10 minutes to Bremen. Better to ask with the people pumping gas but standing at the side of the road with a sign is also fine. Traffic does move fast there though.
