It had already gotten dark, but luckily an Indian couple who were heading north and not a big detour through Amberg took me there. But it was a funny moment when they thought I might be doing something illegal and asked whether I have a valid visa and documents to be in this country. 😃―Anonymous

I messed it up with the previous ride lol so this one was the cool techno guy who didn’t mind taking a bit of a different highway so I could get here. But the previous ride was with a woman who has hitchhiked herself and took me to the next gas station as it was way better there. :)―Anonymous

pentling is a big resting station with a lot of traffic coming through towards the north (maybe the traffic to the south is always stopping here) you can take a bus to "Hohengebraching" from the central station (should take you about 15min) and then you have to walk for 10min til you are there. very easy to find a ride―Anonymous

First we (me and husband) stood there with a sight to Landshut for 40minutes and nobody would take us, then we figured that it was a bad spot to go to the south as the resting-station is very near the city and also going to the wrong direction for us. When we decided to try and get just a lift to some random better stop we signaled just with our thumbs and within 5 minutes someone took us a few kilometers south to a better spot (to “Pendlerparkplatz Bad Abbach”)―Anonymous

A small car park where workers park their private cars - a good place to start on the A93. It's commuter shift change at 2pm and certainly a good time to get a lift. We (my wife and I) could also find a driver in the morning weithin 5 mins directly to Landshut.―Anonymous
