A great spot for the Frankfurt direction. There were plenty of trucks, and I got a ride almost immediately.―martih

This place sucked. There was very low traffic, not a small place to stop, visibility was kinda good, but I would advise you to avoid this place.―martih

sunday morning in july, direction to berlinnot the greatest spot, especially on a sunday where only Mcdonald is open
theres a perfect gas station 10min north form here on the highway, i was asking people to drive me
i was really lucky to bump into a polish couple that was going north on their van, and eventually drove me for 100km to another gas station further
everyone else i asked was going south

All the truck drivers were either resting or having a break of 2-3 hours, so I had my lunch here, ended up having barbecue and vodka with the Ukrainian truck drivers and then after that found an Afghani couple heading to Frankfurt, who had never heard of hitchhiking but who were happy to take me.―anettlee17

Enough space for cars to stop and quite quickly a man heading to Nürnberg took me to the gas station on the highway going towards Frankfurt.―anettlee17

Great spot of you are arriving on the A3 and are looking at going South towards Munich. If you go further to the main interchange there is no where to pull over for your driver. Here is it wasy to turn around and get back on the highway. I was staying in the town just 15km north (Lauf) for the night, you can easly hitch the 15km from here and get to Lauf Bahnhof (Links der Pegnitz) and then walk the 1km to the A9 onramp, there is a station there where you can get a lift on the A9―Anonymous

A lot of local cars. Hard to know wich one take the A9 or not. Most of the people don't drive far, so don't use a sign.―Anonymous

For A3 direction Würzburg/Frankurt. A little place to stop. A lot of people go on the A3. But few stop. Ask direct the driver who are waiting at the light.―Anonymous

A3 direction Würzburg / Frankfurt. Few cars. Mostly locals. Ask the drivers waiting at the red light to drop you off at the next rest area on the hightway.―Anonymous
