There were many cars here but we had to get to Freiburg. I think it can be a bit tricky to get into Freiburg as its not far away and people probably dont take a break so close to their destination. But we got lucky and a guy picked us (2 guys) up with his pick up truck

tried to get to colmar. i thought is good in theory but didnt work out. after two hours a guy came up to us and said to go further away. immediatly after another one said the opposite, to go towards city center. we ended up catching a ride from here 48.011931, 7.806588 but wrong direction. it was our mistake, we wrote "france" and started riding towards strassburg.

There's space for the cars to stop at the bus stop, lots of traffic any time of the day, was trying to go north on the A5 so got a sign for Karlsruhe.

Good spot! I was asking around for an hour and in the end met a couple from the Netherlands while filling up my water. The took me all the way where I needed to go. I spent 6 hours travelling with them. Really perfect.
I asked at the parking lot at the end, not at the gas station.

Good spot in general. Free WiFi btw. I asked around to go to Germany. And after 20 minutes a German guy agreed to take me close to Freiburg.

There's three places to hitch here: at the bus stop, at the entrance, or at the exit. All should work quite well. Someone stopped unprompted while we were still discussing where to stand, took us to Freiburg directly. In summer this is quite a common place to come to swim at the lake, so quite a lot of people from all the region (not only Freiburg) although a lot of full clars.

Great spot if there's some space in the parking spots just after the intersesction for the cars to stop. Got a car towards Titisee while we were still writing our sign.

Maybe I got lucky, but I just made my sign for Freiburg and was lazily eating my lunch someone just stopped and asked to take me. Still, there was a good number and flow of cars for all directions.

We got here by a tram. It was a local recommendation. It was a Saturday around 11 am before holidays. We asked few people. Many people go to the city but some of them go on a5 highway. We had luck and we got a 7 hour ride almost in Marseille.

Gas station is very outdated and no trafic. But at parking next to restaurant a lift with just one time asking.
