There s not a lot of space for the cars to stop but I was taken after 15 min to go North on the autobhan on a rest area before the airport, probably I should have waiting more to get a longer ride but I wanted to go on

Very good spot to go towards Augsburg, Ulm or Stuttgart. I waited with sign on Stuttgart aprox. 45 minutes, but plenty of cars stopped before and offered me Augsburg. Eventually I went to Ulm with a brand new Porsche (just couldn’t say no to that).

Cars are going slowly, can see you clearly a d have a plenty of space to stop.

As the other review says. I tried to go west (Switzerland), but it didn’t work at all. Most of the cars are going to Munich or further south to Austria. I gave up eventually and got picked up quickly after I changed my sign to Munich

Nice spot if you’re trying to get into Munich. I had a local pickup and took me 40 min to the other side of the city. Was very nice. Idk if ppl need a good spot to get inside the city but hope this helps.

Always ask on the ferry, it's likely you can find a car going for a very long journey. I got lucky and found a car going directly to Munich. Our ferry was going from Bastia to Livorno.

Great spot in direction of Lindau and lots of people stopped. One person gave me 5 euros. And many people gave waves and smiles. Only issue was my sign said Alps and it was quite vague so people didn't know where I was going. Partially my fault but there was also a lot of traffic only going to the next city.

Great spot towards Munich. Made a sign for Munich and some people in the parking lot waved me over since they were also going to Munich!

Asked cars and the first one we asked got us all the way to München and we could sleep in their car. They asked us for documents which is understandable since we were entering the EU

I did ask 3 people everyone was willing to give a ride but the first 2 went of a few km later, so I went with the third one. I was on his ride till Berlin

But it was difficult to get there. I walked from S Bahn Eching (it took me nearly 1 hour)

Two guys heading to Belgium, had a sign saying Nürnberg / Frankfurt. Took a while, tried standing by the exit and asking people as they arrived. Eventually found a Belgien car driving to Ghent, the guy let us stay in his cousin's apartment overnight then took us the rest of the way the next morning.

Amazing spot going north. So many cars at an alright speed. To get here you need to go through the bushes from the path until you poke out in front of the traffic, but there is an unused lane that gives drivers plenty space to pull over and makes it safe for you to stand. Cops even drove by and didnt care.
