This gasstation is OK to fix a ride to Koln (still a gas station before Koln) or deeper into the Ruhr-area―Anonymous

not much traffic is leaving from here. you will have great look over the mosel valley. on a sunny day more cars may stop here, but you will definetly have problems to leave from here when it is rainy, foggy or dark!―Anonymous

Mostly local traffic, if possible you should rather get out at a gas station directly on the highway―Michaeln

Not a good place to pull over, but a lot of people go to Southeast.―Anonymous

Parking place Moseltal. Not a lot of traffic, the cars are stopping mostly because of the view. Plus there are parking places for trucks as well. But in general there is not a lot of traffic, if possible, get out of the car on another spot.―Anonymous

Very good! You can simply hitchhike to Cologne (north) or to Mainz/ Frankfurt (south). There is a lot of business traffic. From this patrol station you can take the following motorways: A 48, A 3 or sometimes to A61―Anonymous

Good spot for Vallendar or even Koblenz. It is the best place for drivers to drop you, if you come from A3 or A61―Anonymous

Super tough region as there is no highway connection east. Eventually could trick someone to drive into my direction.―Anonymous

June 2018 -Two people, got a ride all the way to Trier from here. During the two hours we waited that was however the only car with plates from Trier.

June 2018:Got stuck here close to midnight, ended up walking into Koblenz the next morning. We slept in the ditch outside the parking lot outside Bauhaus, which was a surprisingly comfortable ditch.
Tried to hitchhike from the gas station and McDonald's the next morning, gave up after a few hours.
Got stung by a bee the next morning. My feet still hurts when I think about this place. 10/10 best memory of my life.

Feels like I got lucky with finding a ride so soon, stopped here on a Friday in summer around 14:00. There is a closed restaurant and no bathroom, however this is not advertised, so people will still stop here. Asked the first group who was there and got a ride almost to Frankfurt―thebeekeeper
