When I came there (6 pm), lots of trucks doing break and only 2 cars were there, but first car I asked took me all the way were I needed to go. I guess there could be a potential to have long waiting time here.If you don't get dropped here you are able to find holes in the fence around the parking place and thus get onto it even with lots of luggage.

For whatever reason it was hard to find someone willing to take me to Nürnberg. I ended up switching between talking to people and standing at the end of the parking just thumbing. Eventuelley someone stopped there. People can see you pretty well there and it's safe to stop just before the on-ramp of the motorway.―Umbilical7052

Super low traffic in the petrol station, moved here after an hour. Ok spot for cars to pull over just after the lights. Dabbled shade at 2pm. idk why no one rate that spot before but it’s a very known spot (a lot of tag on sign about dates and the ground was used of cars)anyway, that spot is crazy for stuttgart!!! there isn’t that much of traffic but enough to find a ride
the place is perfect : space to stop, visible and cars are driving slow here
