no Problem to get a ride to Munich - ask drivers at the gas station!Harder to find a ride to get you passed Munich! But my experience shows me its better to wait the time to find a ride to pass Munich than get stuck inside Munich, with someone who only drives to there!

A lot of people here were heading off to Augsburg not to Munich or Salzburg. When I asked an old man who was alone watching a map there I found a ride to Munich - unfortunately he just drove me to Allianz-Arena, which was not the perfect place to go on hitchhiking.―Anonymous

Seemed relatively quiet just before lunch time. Lots of people not driving as far as on other stations on the A8. We still managed to get a lift quickly further along the A8 towards Munich. We were holding a sign that said Munchen and asking around the Maccies car park―Anonymous
