I tried to get over Munich in direction Nurnnberg, but it seems quite impossible. Approximately every 5 minutes stopped a car going to Munich, so in the end i went only to Munich.

You can change directions easily by passing under the highway 100m north of the gas station.

Update 2024 idk If they changed the Road but in my opinion its realy hard to Stop for cars without hindering the Traffic. Its better to place urself before the trafficlight so Cars can pull ober more easily

took us a long time to find people to take us north, seems like a lot of people going west (A8).

Moderetly easy to get north impossible to go south.
Started at the traffic lights closes to highway but it is better to be closer to the gass station (where i pinpoined it).
In the end i was not able to ge a ride (way to Garmisch-P.) but few people asked me if i would like to go to Münch and one ask me if i would like to Tuzing shoul have saied yes.
