Good spot to wait, very easy for cars to pull over and stop just after the lights. Mostly seemed like local traffic though so went ignored by about 200 cars before someone pulled over. On my way to Prague and got a lift to Dresden from here

Asked around with sign Hamburg. Lots of cars, and trucks too, calm. Most people, specially trucks, going towards Hannover, but still possible to go direction Hamburg.

Solo female, for me it worked well. Lots of space to stop on the side, a lot of truck drivers going through, and cars coming from the KFC or gas station. Had a sign Berlin, as I wanted to go through Cottbus.

We got lucky here. Immediately when we hitchhiked from Berlin Airport a super cool guy saw us getting out of the car and took us right away. From here to Rheine is crazy.

I guess it is a bit tricky here. In theory there is enough traffic and also quite a lot of space for even big cars to stop. However, they have to stop on the bike lane, which is not ideal. The gas station were completely dead on Saturday morning, so we hitchhiked by the traffic lights and eventually got ride behind Dresden.

Big station, many cars standing on the parking lot, few cars going. People going either to Berlin or North, truck drivers either somewhere local or in pairs (so no place for another person). After two hours of standing with a sign at the exit I went back to talk to people in front of the restaurant. One person who earlier said is not going my direction approached me saying they used to hitchhike and it's good if I move to am Fichtenplan, so I went with them (they were going to the airport to pick someone up)

Reasonable traffic, many cars going to Berlin airport or somewhere north but within 20 min I got a ride direction Poland with people going back to Frankfurt Oder after checking out a flat in Berlin.

It's a good spot for cars to stop but a lot of cars are going to berlin if you stay here put a sign with 113 road sign

Get there by train S8, station \"schöneweide\".
Use the entrance to the (cheaper) \"jet\" gas station.
Good and famous place to leave Berlin southwards (dresden, praha).

Good spot, hitchhiking possible in both directions. Most traffic goes southwards! Easy to stop for cars along the hard shoulder.

Heres a parking lot where many cars stop and the street right after the traffic lights has a service lane where people can stop after they go to the highway!

Very difficult to get into city of Berlin from here. Most cars were going to Poland so if that's your route it could be a good place.

AVOID this place! Other information regarding this petrol station are obsolete. Because of the new highway A113(finished in 2008) very close hardly any car goes here. I was waiting at this petrol station for a LONG time, never seen such uncrowded place. So beware. Any village gas station has higher frequency!

I can not recommend this place. Cars are passing with quite high speed and there's not much space for standing.
