This is not really a good spot as most people are just coming to Brno. To go to Slovakia/Austria it might be better to head for gas stations on respective roads. After around 20 minutes of asking around a guy offered to take us all the way to Szombathely (Hungary).―dundee

This spot is bad if you're trying to go south and don't speak Hungarian. We tried asking around on the gas station, but most people were Hungarians who didn't speak English and it was hard for us to get our point across. After around 25 we took a bus to the south end of the city.―dundee

The best spot to go east to Ljubljana, Budapest or northeast towards Wien. Asking truck drivers directly is the best strategy for one person I think. The 5th driver I asked in person was going directly to Northern Hungary which is where I needed to go.―Dalby
