We hitched here with my girlfriend. It is not needed to walk this far from the city on route 73. Just stand at the last house in Füredi út, cc. 500 m North from this spot (I cannot add spots on the map), it works perfectly. Ideal towards further towns on the Northern Balaton Coast and for smaller distances, "village to village" hitchhiking. People are lovely around here.―Anonymous

direction: Budapest, M7 motorway.right after the traffic light. not much space to stop, but later on cars getting faster. if traffic is heavy, try waving while they wait for the green light.
