Direction Barzan and Akre (beautiful old town btw!) there's not much traffic, but as this is Kurdistan and people are incredibly friendly the first car will stop for you. The drive from here to Akre is immensly beautiful and a small hitchhiking adventure.―Anonymous

All along the route from dujok to Amedi, to Soran sulaminyeh akra and back cars will stop in minutes. Even from the middle of villages. People are extremely kind and will invite you to stay and be hosted, for meals and tea. Kurdistan is the best―mjexplorer
