We were two people and just asked the people on the gas station. We wanted to go to Modena to go further to Bologna. But no one was going there so finally we got a ride to the train station of Isola della Scala. Not recommended, strange atmosphere there!―RoSi

We tried to go from Verona to Bologna. After waiting on a bad place near the highway we decided to go on smaller roads. Via Isola de la Scala, Mirandulina ... Even if its not a highway cars go fast there just in villages near traffic lights they stop for while. But people are sceptic about hitchhiking even lokals said so.―Anonymous
