Perfect spot to go Venezia, personally I had a ride to Palmanova which is even further! :) thanks Marko in his old school van! Just ask around at the exit of the shop when people get out, avoid using thumb in case there's police (dis saw it all the day)🚨

Perfect spot to go to Verona, I was taking my time. I was just asking around in Italian outside the shop, if you do this you won't have any problems. There are some workers at the gas station so better to stay hidden from them! Thanks Benvenuto!

Workers on gas station are not friendly and don’t you let be there, you have to be next to Autogrill. Lot of people in weekend going direction Verona/Milan, but hitchhiking in Italy is not so easy. But you will definitely find a way and someone who’ll take you with.

Lot of traffic, but better to ask someone to take you to highway at least, becase there are lot of directions from this place. We (a couple) had a sign Verona/Milan, it was raining so we asked a guy while he was filling the gas and he took us to gas station on highway.

Good spot, lot of cars afternoon going to Venice or Trieste direction. We (couple) had a sign Venice/Verona and a young guy took us directly to Padova to the centre and bought us a drink afterwards.

You’re visable from 200/300 meters, there’s plenty room for the cars to stop, especially as they’re slowing down to enter the roundabout. Not enough space for the truckers, sadly. Some shade avaliable.

On the other side of the roundabout (towards padua) theres a motel with what looks like another good spot, since it combines fraffic from all directions towards padua. Didn’t get a chance to try it out, because wuickly i found a pleasant ride to Padua centro.

we started asking around at the gas station, but after someone complained, the lady from the gas station threatened to call the police. she told us to stay at the entrance from the round-about, where she 'could not see us'. no one stopped for our sign, but at 10 the gas station closed and we continued asking people. we got a ride to the next big autogrill very quick.

We were originaly trying to get to vienna or in the direction of germany but we met a guy going to italy who was willing to take us with him so we went for it.
Wouldn't recommend trying to go to vieanna from here. Many people seemed to go to Budapest from here

The spot on the way to Italy isn't practical, as there's not really room for the car to stop. But it did the trick for us as a car took us away after 5 minutes.

cross on the other side (the autogrill is over the highway) and you have directions:

never hh from there but brought friends there and they left successfully!

if coming from Padova take bus 11 to TaggÃ¬ - or to Limena, try to get off nearby the highway then walk along it till the gas station

a very good relay on my way from MESTRE (VENEZIA) to MILANO in summer 2010. as not everyone from the MESTRE-area (from where i had departed) travels on long distance i had a stopover here for 30 minutes. there is lots and lots of traffic at this place - trucks, busses, cars. there is a petrol station, a rest area as well as a large restaurant. people speak english very well. there are oppportunities to get taken to PADOVA, VICENZA, VERONA, BRESCIA as well as MILANO during minutes. on my personal rating from 1 to 10 (1 = worst ever, don't go there!, 10 = perfect spot) i want to rate this place a "9 to 10" as it is safe, clean and people are very friendly.

Not easy to reach the place from the city (bus 11), but the southern side is quite okay to the direction of Slovenia/Trieste, Maybe to Austria as well, but i think it depends very much of the date (tourist season). Random summer Sunday it was busy enough. Got a ride to Budapest(!) in 30 min.
