Workers on gas station are not friendly and don’t you let be there, you have to be next to Autogrill. Lot of people in weekend going direction Verona/Milan, but hitchhiking in Italy is not so easy. But you will definitely find a way and someone who’ll take you with.―TwoThumbsTravel

Lot of traffic, but better to ask someone to take you to highway at least, becase there are lot of directions from this place. We (a couple) had a sign Verona/Milan, it was raining so we asked a guy while he was filling the gas and he took us to gas station on highway.―TwoThumbsTravel

we started asking around at the gas station, but after someone complained, the lady from the gas station threatened to call the police. she told us to stay at the entrance from the round-about, where she 'could not see us'. no one stopped for our sign, but at 10 the gas station closed and we continued asking people. we got a ride to the next big autogrill very quick.―meowcrew

never hh from there but brought friends there and they left successfully!
if coming from Padova take bus 11 to Taggì - or to Limena, try to get off nearby the highway then walk along it till the gas station

Not easy to reach the place from the city (bus 11), but the southern side is quite okay to the direction of Slovenia/Trieste, Maybe to Austria as well, but i think it depends very much of the date (tourist season). Random summer Sunday it was busy enough. Got a ride to Budapest(!) in 30 min.―Lorcs

Brought here people willing to go south on A13 to Monselice/Rovigo/Bologna and over, they found a ride and didn't call me back to say they were stuck!! So I guess, a good spot! More detailed information will come soon.―Anonymous

The gaz station is reachable from behind. There is a fence but you can easily pass it because its broken in some point. We stood in the exit of the station and tried to catch cars from the roundabout and the station. Its difficult because there is a lot of traffic, cars go fast and most drivers ignored us. Friendly Truck driver stopped in the roundabout itself and took us to Padova.―Anonymous

Heading south. There is really few and almost only local traffic. Its a bad spot to go on long distances. Everyone we asked, was taking the next exit. But People are very nice and friendly. Finally someone took us to the city center.―Anonymous

It’s Italy, so always more difficult then elsewhere.. wanted to go (trieste) to Slovenia. After 3 hours a guy drove me 30 minutes in the right direction. Was in October, so no tourist season, so more difficult to find people. But it’s the best place out of Padova I think―Emric
