decent spot. the entrance is behind a gate and the entire station is behind a tall barbed wire fence. there is one spot where it is hoppable at time of writing (by going through Via Pietro Nenni).much better luck asking around than standing at the end. not that much traffic, but a lot of it going to rome. staff is supportive, one guy came to bring me chocolates and advise on how to talk to police if they bother me :)

We were two (boy and girl) and we got a ride Rome with an old couple, don't try to ask people in the middle of a day they are shy try to stand with a sign near by the exit. BTW, the way to theenterence of this gas station is passing inside a private property but no problem nobody is there anymore ;)―Astala27

We were a couple, we got a lift by asking people. The guy was quite nice, he paid us the train ticket to finish our trip 60km after Roma.―Daftbot

At the end of the week of the 15th of august, we ( a girl and a boy) tried to come back in the north of france from Napoli! We began at 1PM from this gas station, by asking people (i'm speaking italian), we found in 5mn a car for Firenze. After in an other gas station, in 5mn we found a car to Milan. It was 10PM and we found a car from the East of France in 30 40mn!Perfect! Thanks a lot!

3 people waited 30 minutes for a ride North from here. From behind McDonalds at Naples central station take bus "Caserta" to Via Largo Rotunda. Walk back the direction the bus came two blocks and walk West to arrive at the petrol station.―Anonymous

It is still possible to climb the fence. Close to the entrance to the gas station there is a small building where the fence is a bit broken (maybe because of the hitchhikers who climbed it...) The small building helps you to climb. After that the second driver that i asked gave me a lift to Napoli.―HUNmeszabi
