In Winter I waited 2 hours and a half at the entrance. Tried also to ask at the gas station but really few cars. Most of the traffic was going nearby or in Napoli. I had a sign Salerno and managed to get only to the next gas station―Anonymous

We find a guy who drive us to the next gas station on the A30, direction Roma. 8 hours later we arrived in Roma, we were a couple. And it was fucking hot !―Daftbot

Gaz station and Autogrill.We were a couple here on a Monday.
Less car traffic at the station, more at the autogrill.
Employees at the gaz station were nice, giving us advices for the driver we should ask.
We found a car going on the A1 (Roma).

Lot of local traffic.

As a teenager I used to hitchike almost every day to Amalfi to go to school from this spot. I wanted to give it a rating as it is my first hitchhiking place.I don't know if it works as good for tourists but try! In the morning it is easier for sure (around 7:30 or 8)
