Low traffic. Easy to find a ride to Piacenza.―Anonymous

Waited all day in the sun, only had a sign to cremona less than 20km down the road. Had to put my hammock up overnight until I finally got one the next day. Trucks wouldn't take me as they feared the police.―Anonymous

This looks to be the most obvious way to get out of Brescia and from here you can go to any direction you want.To get here you can just take a short walk from Volta metro. There will be a gas station and when you walk past it, you will come across a comfy side of the road that seems great for HH, at least in theory. In reality though, despite a decent amount of traffic, it can be extremely hard to stop anybody here (especially without a sign).
If you get frustrated after waiting for a long time, I can recommend checking out the two gas stations on either side of the roundabout for any cars that may potentially go in your desired direction.
I rate this spot 4/5 just because it is one of the very few ways to get out of Brescia.
P.S. I'm going to post other ways to HH out of the city after I've discovered them. Look for any recent updates
