We (2) saw a group of Slovenian ski instructors who were looking at us, so we asked them for the Milan direction and they immediately took us to another gas station before Brescia, which is a good spot before Milan.―TwoThumbsTravel

Workers on gas station are not friendly and don’t you let be there, you have to be next to Autogrill. Lot of people in weekend going direction Verona/Milan, but hitchhiking in Italy is not so easy. But you will definitely find a way and someone who’ll take you with.―TwoThumbsTravel

S tier gas station you can shower for free. Other than that expensive but you can charge your things free drinking water in the bathroom.We got lucky and found a Czech guy going our way (we are also czech) so he took us but if he didn’t it would prolly take a bit longer CZU it was later as well.
We were tryna get to Venice but not many ppl were going there surprisingly.

One of the worst places to stop. We were there about 3 hours, tried multiple spots near the bod, even on the other side near to the petrol station. It was horribly hot, most of the cars coldn’t see us properly, standing next to Italian police… Very bad place to stop, avoid it all costs.―Anonymous

Very good tankstelle with Autogrill through which is possible to get from one side of the autostrada to the other. This tankstelle is populated by both trucks and city cars which make it a good spot to get rides both short and long range. I found a ride from here to Venice in less than 5 minutes from a truck driver heading to Monfalcone. Got dropped at the gate about 1km further but we walked until here cause it was too dangerous at the gate.Here was a bad place though, cars are driving fast despite the roundabout and there's really not much space to stop, it's even a bit dangerous for the cars....

Very very good spot if you are heading to Milano, Brescia or Verona; you can have a ride in 20’ max. A lot of traffic thanks to the Autogrill. However, very bad spot to reach the north of Italy/A22/Trento (our case). If you are heading this way we recommend to go to Verona and to take another ride from there.―diiiiiiiane
