Waited a while to get a ride to Trento, many cars stopped, but they only drove to the next village so we waited longer, since the spot was amazing and eventually someone towards Trento would stop. Using sign might be helpful, we sadly did not find any cardboard.

very easy to get a ride off-highway towards Trento. Just expect that you will need multiple rides to get there :)

Seems like its a good spot to get dropped off in order to head to the lake, but the cars just wouldnt stop, we got lucky to stop a car by yelling at our fellow nationals, who decided to turn around and pick us up😭🙏

autostop already forbidden here, better write a sign (because highway divides), hide from carabinieri, or ask at the peage. not cool place when it is hot and sunny

not this much traffic, hard to find someone going to the next service station after trento, to trento no problem

most of the traffic from the northern lake garda to the motorway is crossing this point, maybe more useful at the weekends where more tourists go over here

There's a lot of german drivers returning in Germany from the lake during summer, it's not difficult to go to Trento or in the north, but it's quite impossible to go to Verona

There is a big roundabout and traffic going up toward Nago - Mori - Rovereto - Trento. I have always been waiting less than 10 minutes. Just smile.

If you're looking to get over the mountain towards Schio and Vicenza this might be a quicker route then trying to hitch to Verona and then around (or maybe if you want to visit the 52 Gallerie at the top). Just as you go up the hill the street is narrow but the lane closest to the river opens into another for cars to park and makes a good place for drivers to stop. Hitched it twice and had good results (a sign is useful)-

Ps: great scenic route! :)

Decent spot to get to Trento because it gets traffic from many directions. Me and a friend waited on the sidewalk for about 25 minutes. Have a sign!

Just right in front of the hotel there is a bus stop where you can stand and cars can easily see you from a far distance. All the traffic passing by is going to Rovereto . I have waited 10 minutes.

Great spot if you're going north to Trento, we (two guys) had multiple people signaling and one person offering to take us. A bit difficult for cars to stop so Trucks will generally not slow down. With a sign to Verona we got a ride in about an hour.

Nice spot just before the tunnel as road going right is closed so makes a good spot for cars to stop. Found a ride with a sign to Limone pretty quick.
