We were 2 guys, we wanted to get to Palermo. First car stoped after 1 hour. The spot seems perfect. There are a lot of cars, they go slowly and they can see you from distance. But italians are not into taking hitchhikers, so our driver was a Pole (polish men).

Lot of traffic, and easy for cars to spot you an stop. I wanted to go to Messina, I had a guy stop and he could take me to the central station of Palermo, and then another one going home took me to Termini―arzugar

There arent so much cars using this ramp to the highway. Better to use the main road instead if you want to go to Palermo.―HUNmeszabi

It was horrible. We were two (boy and girl) and tried for sevral hours. People didn't understand what we wanted, asked us for money, were laughing at us and some even threw stuff at us. In the end we asked someone at the gas station and he took us back to the city and we took a bus to Catania.―Marauder
