Toll gate - excellent spot for rides north towards Gyeongju (10 minutes waiting time for a direct ride). To get here take the metro (Line 2) to Namyangsan station. From here it's a 20 minutes walk to the toll gates (cross the river on the foot bridge, turn left and walk along the small creek for 500 meter until you hit Yangsan-Daero Road. After you've passed under the highway, turn right and walk another 500 meter to the toll gates. Staff and police were indifferent to me standing on the highway side of the toll gates)―Anonymous

Cars go pretty fast here, that's why this spot is not perfect, but there is quite a lot of space to stop. Traffic is ok. Managed to get the direct ride to Daegu in less then 15minutes―Anonymous

Not much space to stop, but still managed to get a direct ride to Daegu within 5minutes. If you're luck you will get a ride fast. If you're not you will have to wait a little longer but someone will take you sonner or later. To get there take the metro line number 2 to 동의대 (dong eui univ. exit 4)―Anonymous

I'm a 25-year-old Caucasian man. I had a clear sign that read in Hangul "Please, bring me to Busan," I found success within three minutes by standing between the two roads leading to the tollgate near the traffic light.Great spot and the staff of the toll gate can’t bother you.
