Refused fiew short rides in different directions then mine and after realizing that hitchhiking through Austria will probably look like this, you wait 1-2 hours to get ride like 10 to 20 km I decided to change my plans and leave this country as fast as possible so after sleeping in nearby wood and before that chilling at the river under bridge with beer I got from one of the drivers going into different direction I slept in nearby forest and took a train to German border. Very good decision as over there I got very long ride in like 25 minutes―Autostopeks

There is bus bay and tree giving you a shadow while you are there and that's where positives ends. For two and a half hour literally nobody was stopping except for busses―Autostopeks

I probably shouldn't accept such a short lift but getting lift fully within such a small country is nice experience at least for me―Autostopeks

I want to find a car direction Sankt Anton / Innsbruck, but no one stops.Although it is close to highway, I think it's not a good place, most of the cars went back home from work I think because of the time (16 pm)

Pouring rain... right next to a police station for customs, but thankfully it is out of sight behind an earth mound. Not that much south bound traffic on the on ramp but got picked up after 45 mins and taken to vaduz. At the start of the ramp there is no space to pull over, but a little further down theres plenty. Had sign for vaduz, but after some people pulled over, then saw the sign and drove off I put it away. Traffic is slow and visibility good. Lots of unsympathetic posh people but the guy who picked me.up was the world's biggest gigachad.―Anonymous

Tried taking the bus up to a restaurant with the intention of eating and then catching the next bus an hour later, but when the restaurant turned out to be closed I decided to hitchhike the rest of the way up rather than wait an hour for the bus. Really cold and completely dark outside, took longer than I would have liked to get a ride. No cell service either. Fair number of cars going past so maybe I just got unlucky (and it was night), but still not a lot of fun.―Anonymous

Originally we had a sign for Innsbruck but most of the traffic at the mall is local. After changing it to feldkirch we got a ride pretty quickly.―Proxi

It was a moderately busy saturday late morning and I had high hopes getting in direction of A7 Germany relatively quickly, but was shocked that nobody stopped. Probably made the mistake of not having a sign. In the end I was so desperate to get to the german border that I took a nice family going to Schaffausen.―Lili1919
