very convenient spot to get to Klaipeda/Latvia.
to conveniently get to the place take bus 32 until "9-ojo forto muziejus" bus stop from the city centre. costs 1 Euro but you can not pay if you're greedy, no one checks anyway.

You have to put in the work yourself, meaning if you (for example) want to get to Kaunas, then go up to the truck drivers that have allready stopped and just ask them if they want to take you, otherwise kind of hard to pull the cars off the highway into the gas station to pick you up

HH place to hh direction of Palanga, LV if you're coming from the east(Kaunas, Vilnius). It's not the best place couse you miss much traffic from Klaipeda, but it's possible to hitch a ride here.

Better then the best HH place in Klaipeda!:) Even that it is forbiden to stop a car here (due to the rules), everybody does it. My average time of waiting for the direct lift to Vilnius or Kaunas here not more then 6 min, I think.

It's not the best place if you want to hh of Klaipeda couse you miss a lot of traffic but it's one of the options if you don't want to walk till the next round about(Jaku).You can also try asking at the petrol station.

Depending where you want to go you can have a lift to Juodkrante, Nida or even Kalliningrad. And that's very easy. You ask the car drivers on the ferry. Third driver you'll ask definatelly will take you.
