lots and lots of cars, which is a bit bad, because they can't change lanes, and when coming out of a dark tunnel they barely see you and struggle to make a decision.
still got a ride and it's worth it because it's a city centre.

One male 40+, with a sign "VILNIUS" , one big and one small backpacks, dry but cloudy day. Going to Vilnius.A very good space. A bus stop, with enough space even for a truck to squeeze in. Just before 9 in the morning. A perfect traffic, a car every 20-30 seconds. A van stopped after 15-20 minutes of waiting and took me all the way to Vilnius.
I got to this spot walking from the centre of Bauska.

Here is a good spot because drivers have space for stopping. I stayed there with the sign : PANEVEZYS that vice-versa was VILNIUS, after 20 minutes of waiting one truck driver stopped when I showed sign PANEVEZYS, after he saw another side of my paperboard, he said that he could move me to Vilnius, and we go nice.―Roman21

Cars go fast but there is plenty of space for them to notice you and then stop on the bus stop which is easily accessible by public transport.―verdederos

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, rain. Going to Riga.Very good space. After the junction with traffic lights, so people have time to see you when waiting at the red light.
There is an extra line to turn right. Almost never used coz it's leading to one business building. It's long enough even for two lorries to stop.
I got a ride after a few minutes.

Not too much traffic. I was trying to get to Lithuania with a sign Litwa (Lithuania in Polish). Noone wanted to pick me up even though some truck drivers I knew was going to Lithuania. But after 30 min I found a guy with Lithuanian number plates to get me to Vilnius. Probably helped a lot that I spoke lithuanian to him as I am lithuanian.―kiausiniuvagis

Probably the best spot to go to Kaunas, got picked up in like 3 minutes (maybe got lucky). There are a lot of cars but already they are going pretty fast. It easy to get from bus top "Gariūnai".―kiausiniuvagis
