One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, rain. Going to Riga.Very good space. After the junction with traffic lights, so people have time to see you when waiting at the red light.
There is an extra line to turn right. Almost never used coz it's leading to one business building. It's long enough even for two lorries to stop.
I got a ride after a few minutes.

I got a car really by the exit from the gas station. Before me I saw two other hitchhikers trying to catch a car by the highway with no success. Better to use the gas station exit imo as you get less cars but they go slower.―DaidalosT

Great spot to Riga! We took 3g - 87 buses from the city and got off at the DEPO, from there its a short walk. Drivers can see the spot from the traffic light and can stop in the small bus stop. We only got a ride to Ukmergé but it was on a holiday with generally low traffic.―Anonymous
