This was my first hitch spot in Mexico. I think I walked for maybe five minutes before I was picked up to get back to San Cristóbal. Little buses (colectivos) came by constantly too, but putting my thumb down when they went by saved me 10 pesos in the end.―Anonymous

There's a traffic light which can be used quite effectively too. Straight non-stop rides to Tuxtla, if going further probably good place to shop around for better ride (highway in Tuxtla can be trickier)―Anonymous
