One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a cloudy evening. On my way from Bălți to Iaşi (successful). The place looks really good. Two tarmac bays (an entry and an exit of the petrol station), so loads of place to stop. Very good visibility. No shade, but it was very cloudy evening. The cars were going pretty fast. And there were very few of them.
The whole hitchhiking from Bălți was going much slower than I expected. I started to think that I'd get stuck here (getting dark, very few cars etc.). But after half an hour a car stopped. And it was going all the way to Iaşi. But the ride was a bit stressful. The guy asked for money. Then he said he had been only joking. But during the ride he was "joking" like that a few more times. At the border he was shouting at the border gards. And generally he was a bit weird. So, I was relieved when I got off in Iaşi.
The traffic on this road seems to be not very busy. So reserve guys a bit more time to get to Iaşi from Bălți.
