Waited here because there was more place to stop but i would recommend to just stand at the exit of roundabout. Thats the most popular position to stand in Montenegro. Locals do that even tho there is no place to stop but drivers prefer much more stopping at lower speed even tho blocking the road. But got the ride in 30 min with a serbian guy who did the wrong turn. Got to Berane. But not easy section to HH―kiausiniuvagis

After crossing border by feet at night, nobody was giving a ride, because at night all the truck drivers are just going to sleep right after crossing border and they go nowhere.I slept here in hamak. But find more desolate place to sleep, because there are a lot of dogs around and two of them were barking at me non stop at night until I scared them with a flashlight.
In the morning it was easy, a little traffic from border, but I asked a car driver near Motel in here to give me a ride to the next city after border.

Started hitchhiking at night right after crossing the Serbian border on feet. There's a huge queue of trucks there, don't use sign there, because just near the Montenegro border there will be another huge line of trucks. Use this place to just hitchhike a ride through 3km buffer zone with your thumb and cross next border by walk.Border workers are helping you to get a ride

This place is hard but doable.Mostly no cars go to Montenegro here, but truck drivers go directly to Podgorica. I had to beg on my mom to get one truck driver take me at least to the border. He had to drop me before, because he had only driver seat in his cabin and didn't want any problems at control.
Overall, it has plenty of place for cars to stop, but barely anyone go to Monyebegro

Most cars here go towards Serbia or Bijelo Polje, but there are quite a few that go towards Berane as well. No one took me though. I got a ride with two German women in a camper van that already took me the day before.―Suip

A fairly busy road north of Bijelo Polje. Easy place to hitch from. This is the main road from montenegro to serbia, easy to get a longer ride. The border is no problem to cross. Though as of summer 2011, the border is closed at certain times of the day due to construction.―Anonymous

Lot of space to pull over and cars riding slowly make this a good spot. Locals use it too, there is a gas station before the roundabout. Just the distances covered are not that long (most of the cars heading to Bielo Polje or Prijepolje).―Anonymous

I stood a bit further from roundabout where was more place to stop but ig I was too far away because locals who stood closer just on sidewalk got picked up before me. I hope its the spot difference but yeah try to stand closer where its lower speed for cars. Still not very easy place to hitch not a lot of people pick up.―kiausiniuvagis
