Because the earlier spot on the hard shoulder merging two roads was occupied by a couple of local hitchhikers, we tried our luck a bit down the road by the graveyard. There's plenty of space to pull over and people see you early enough to slow down.We "got lucky" because some people came here from Nikšic to commemorate a lost family member. They saw us when they pulled up, we gretted them and they didn't greet back. So we were thinking they want to be left alone due to their griefing.
However, without us even signaling to them, they offered to bring us to Nikšic.

Good spot to wait at the bus stop. Not many people will take you, but it just takes time. I first tried it down at the on road to the 'highway' but waited for one hour without any success, maybe because it was Easter saturday. Got picked up by a very friendly sailor from Montenegro that showed me his village and invited me for a drink.―Suip

Local people seemed to be using the parking area in front of the store on the corner, as well as the road up ahead. Just a 2 lane road, so they'll stop in the middle of the road. It isn't too busy, so it should be fine.Took me 30 mins to get a ride, but there were 2 people at the store corner, 2 girls on the stretch of road and then later a guy that went in front of me. My ride even picked up those same girls later.
