Big traffic going to all different places. A lot of space for cars to stop safely and you can even ask around truck drivers. I got a truck driver who was going all the way to Serbia to take me to Bjelo Polje which took a lot of time - 3 hours for 100 km(mountains, speed limits)―hitchhikeress

Bus stop where cars can safely stop. A lot of traffic to Podgorica. I got a ride really fast with a driver going to Cetinje, then Podgorica―hitchhikeress

Headed to Podgorica, signed and thumbed. No shade here but very good for being seen by drivers out of Koplik and those going straight after the roundabout. Waited for 20min. Saw many Montenegrin-plated cars. Apparently they are not as open to hitchhiking as the Albanians. But got picked up by a Montenegrin guy going home to Podgorica―GloriaF

Super easy to hitch a ride in Albania. This spot doesn't look promising at first (it's next to an abandoned lot) but I stood just before the petrol station and was quickly picked up by a family going to Koplik for lunch. Then at Koplik I was dropped off at a roundabout leading onto the road to the Hani i Hotit border crossing. There was picked up within 1 minute and brought all the way to Podgorica.―Anonymous

Perfect spot, visible and there is space to stop the car. Cars from the city center and also trucks go there towards the Montenegro border.―Newbyfem

Very shit spot. Tried on the main road but cars go fast and there is piterally zero space but got picked up by people going from virpazar to zabljak but needed only podgorica. I would suggest taking the train ehoch is cheap (i didnt want to wait 1 hour) ot just asking people at the exit of town if they hoing to your direction―kiausiniuvagis

Not the best spot as cars drive fast. But stood at the entrance of gas station and somebody just stopped and got a ride to podgorica. Didnt want to wait for train. There is train stop in 9 mins.―kiausiniuvagis

Didnt like this spot a lot. A bit akward for cars to stop but still got picked up fast to podgorica. If you want a better spot there is a bus stop 15 mins up the way but cars might go pretty fast there so idk.―kiausiniuvagis

Got picked up here within 30 or so minutes by a guy who drove me to Sutomore. We had a slight miscommunication as I wanted him to drop me off in Virpazar (to get to Petrovac). But Sutomore ended up being a good spot as well to get to Petrovac, so not really complaining.―Kartenhouse

Waited for a while here on my way to Petrovac after accidentally adding an hour to my journey by taking the wrong bus and having to wait for almost 45 minutes for the correct one.Eventually somebody stopped and drove me a bit down the road to a better spot.

Just right after a border control. First stopped a bus and asked 8 euros, after refusal albanian with Italy plates stopped and took us to Podgorica. But I asked to drop me near waterfall.―friskyura

Waiting without a sign for a ride to the border with another hitchhiker from Germany. After a while Albanian couple stopped not speaking a single word in English and took us to Honi i Hotit―friskyura

Waited only for 10 minutes, but there were a lot of cars and because of the high speed they couldn't stop, but two men picked us up―Halosha
