Not much space for drivers to stop, but slow traffic and most cars go to dakhla or further. I stood there for one hour and got a ride strait to nouakchott, mauretania.―Anonymous

There are two police checkpoints next to each other here in direction north. They are quite far to walk from the center of Laayoune but it is possibile and I saw a bus running there as well (I think it was number 3 and should cost around 2 Dirham, but better ask). The police didn't let me hitchhike because they thought it isn't save, but they quickly found a truck for me that was going all the way to Guelmim.―Anonymous
