Kinda hard to reach safely, but the spot in itself is not that bad. You can wait behind the safety barrier after the traffic lights. Got a ride in 5 mn for 2 persons for further than Gent with a “België” sign.―zesexyhitchhikerz

It took surprisingly long to find a ride into Rotterdam here, but I eventually found one through asking around at the gas station. Staff there was very friendly and one even offered to take me to Rotterdam if I don't find a lift.―daganzebuaatramper

Great spot for going north to Amsterdam, and okay spot to get west to Rotterdam.Unfortunately the staff of the gas station told me I can't ask drivers for a lift at the gas station itself, so I had to resort to using a sign on the exit of the parking lot. A bit annoying, as the gas station had lots of cars coming through.
I the end, I didn't wait too long and finally found somebody who drove me close to Rotterdam.
