Really good spot. Slow drivers, high visibility, good place to stop. Everyone there is probably going to Belgium, lots of Belgian cars. I've got a feeling it's a lot of short distance drives though. We got a ride to Bilzen, there is a nice highway entrance―Bigworldsmallsarah

We were here on a Tuesday morning, and in half an hour two cars stopped. It's an expensive highway/city gas station without a shop. The second one took us to the roundabout in the west of the city, that was a way better spot for going to Belgium. There was also a lot of police around, and they told us we weren't allowed to be there. I don't think it's worth going out of your way to get here, but if you get dropped off here I guess you'll eventually find a ride.―Bigworldsmallsarah

Heading to the UK. Didn't have a good time here. Spent 3 hours alternating between the exit road, the shop entrance, and walking round and asking people. Literally no-one said they were going towards Brussels, most people seemed to be going north, and there were lots of Dutch plates. Got offered one lift to Antwerp, and then eventually a guy driving to Spain offered me a lift to Brussels, though it turned out he wasn't driving to Brussels at all so I got out at Mons...―Wienerpolser

Great spot to go to the highway A40. There was a emergency lane where the cars Can safely stop. We had a sign A40 and a teacher took us (2 people and a dog+2backpacks) to the nearest big gas station on the A40. We are heading to Aachen…….―NTKtriohitch

The road to enter is strange, a lot of cars exiting the E40, not using the station then re-entering the E40. It’s not worth trying to stop them, they’re going too fast. We waited at the entrance to the service station, the exit is better as you can catch the cars as they’re leaving―Breno
