I actually preferred this spot over the restaurant parking lots nearby.When I was there, the parking lots were pretty empty but there was traffic on the road. There is a bus stop where cars can easily pull over right before the highway to different directions. Had a sign that said Leiden, my ride would only have gone to Alphen but ended up taking me the whole way to Leiden Central Station. Surprisingly good spot. Even though it was already 9pm.

Tried the entry to the gas station first but people turning left on the N11 are already sorted to the left lane so it's harder for them to pull in. So I moved to the middle berm just before the traffic lights with sign "A12". Told my driver he could drop me at the gas station on the N11 near Bodegraven, but he insisted on taking me to the next one on the A12.―Chris9012
