First car took us to the gas station on the highway, 3km away. Spot is good for cars to stop but not much traffic at least on a Sunday morning.

Big MOP, good enough traffic but we were there at night starting at 10pm so not ideal. Waited for 1h30 with signs and thumbs under a light, found two rides towards the north but not on A2 so not our destination (a motel there 40km away). While walking back towards the pumps to ask people, found a ride towards Netherlands that took us all the way all night, amazing !

Lots of traffic midday, great place for cars to pull over. We were offered rides to Oldenburg and after a few minutes only to Rotterdam with an NL sign!

Nice spot. We got a ride surprisingly fast. We asked around at the pump.

It took us longer than we thought, but 22 minutes is still quick. A lot of people drove to the south. No one to Utrecht.

Its probably not that good of a spot, but we got really lucky and second car we asked were on a way back home to France and they were willing to take us close to the exact place in Rotterdam we wanted to visit.

It took surprisingly long to find a ride into Rotterdam here, but I eventually found one through asking around at the gas station. Staff there was very friendly and one even offered to take me to Rotterdam if I don't find a lift.

Great spot for going north to Amsterdam, and okay spot to get west to Rotterdam.
Unfortunately the staff of the gas station told me I can't ask drivers for a lift at the gas station itself, so I had to resort to using a sign on the exit of the parking lot. A bit annoying, as the gas station had lots of cars coming through.
I the end, I didn't wait too long and finally found somebody who drove me close to Rotterdam.

This petrol station is not very large, but all traffic here is going south and a lot of them head for Belgium, so you will easily get a hike to Antwerp.

Average for rides to Roosendaal/Bergen op Zoom, not much traffic, got lucky after about 30-40 minutes.

Ok place. Lady of the service station offered me a piece of cardboard, without asking. Asked some young swiss guys but they were full, did offer to take just my girlfriend though...

Waited about an hour at 7:30am on a monday (because of the amount of local traffic) but a friendly belgium guy took us to the big service station just over the border.
