A guy and a girl on a Friday afternoon without a sign. The higher spots were inaccessible due to roadwork, so we walked to this one instead, which I think is for the best : there is a lot of space to stop and cars go slow because of the roundabout. There seem to be a lot of buses passing through this busstop, but we quickly got a ride to Stavanger anyway.

A guy and a girl on a Thursday afternoon without a sign. There is a bus stop large enough for cars to stop and a small road entrance after the bus. There is a lot of passage, and cars don't go that fast. We got a ride to Bergen after a short wait.

It seems to be a good spot for any direction but mostly people who stopped here were driving to Bergen. But I found a woman driving past Knarvik eventually.

A good spot in the sense that there’s lots of traffic and plenty of space where to stop. But, the traffic is moving rather fast and people were not very eager to stop there. A lady saw me and then drove back and came to pick me up.

A good spot overall, has space to stop and has a little cover from the rain under the cherry stall. I got a ride with a professional driver from Lapland all the way to Bergen. He even offered me a job as a driver, as they have one car without a driver at the moment haha.

Perfect covered bus stop on the E16 to Voss and Oslo. It's quite a big walk if you took the bus from Bergen centre to Ã…sane mall, but everybody driving from Bergen and surroundings to Oslo have to pass through here. Make sure you have a big (waterproof) sign, because drivers are driving pretty fast. Waited about 20-30min for a ride to Voss in the winter.

Very good spot for hiking north on the E39, to Førde, Ålesund and Trondheim. It's passed a big roundabout and a parking lot; there is a nice covered bus stop and place for cars to pull over to go to Hjelle Bakeri.

To go here, take bus n°4 direction Flaktveit and stop at Gullgruven. From here it's a 20-30 minutes walk. The bus ticket is 29 NOK if you take it at the machine.

The free Ikea bus leaves from the train station every hour, the first one is at 10. From Ikea it´s around 2 km to get here.

Somehow it took us some time here and it seemed that most cars were heading to Osteröya, but then we got a ride all the way to Gol. In a desperate moment we decided to walk until after the bridge, which turned out pointles (tunnel+no place to stop).

Quite OK, but we only got a ride until the next maked spot after the tunnel. :D
