Loads and loads of traffic.

A guy and a girl on a Saturday afternoon without a sign. Not a lot of traffic, but enough place to stop, and good view all around. We got a ride to Kristiansand in a few minutes.

An older lady took me to Lindenes fyr and then back to the main road to Stavanger.

I was incredibly lucky during the rush hour (cca. 4pm) and after just 10 min Romanian truck driver stopped for me in the traffic jam and took me all the way to Oslo :-)

a perfect spot to Stavanger. Honestly I don't find on the map where it is exactly, but somewhere here. If you come form Kristiansand, take the bus 40 from the Centrum and get off the stop called Mjåvann, and stay in the busstop. It't just perfect. Good traffic, place for cars to stop etc. I waited 2 minutes and got a direct ride to Stavanger. Be avare that the bus 40 runs once in an hour or weekends even less times. Check for the bus schedule: http://agder.websrv02.reiseinfo.no/AgderIISSTaticTables/Tables/ruter/td/40.htm

Direction: both Oslo and Stavanger

There is a roundabout which slows down the cars and bus stops on both sides of it where there is enough space to pull off and they can also help you in case of rain.
